Back-up Vocal~ I suppose this one could be viewed as a true 70’s Fest.
Lots of references to old time performers who were big names in the 70’s.
I’m not really sure how to explain the phenomenon of Charo. The best I can offer on that one is,
for the curious, look her up on youtube. She was a regular guest on old “Love Boat” episodes. She is a wonderful performer and an astounding Flamenco guitar player. Here in the U.S. she is known especially as the “Cuchi Cuchi Lady”, from a dance she performs on stage. She is something of a 70’s Pop Culture icon.
I loved the thought of Tully owning a Charo pinball machine and being completely devastated when he had to trade it. All to ensure that Manny’s music will get the exposure it needs.
